President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Saturday expressed their profound grief and sorrow over the death of Pakistan Peoples Party's Senator Malik Salahuddin Dogar. In a message to the family of Senator Dogar, the President praised the contribution of Senator Dogar for the country and said PPP would always remember his services.

He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude. Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf also expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the death of Senator Malik Salahuddin Dogar. Senator Malik Salahuddin Dogar was also the member of Senate's Standing Committee on Local Government and Rural Development; Standing Committee on Communications Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges; and Standing Committee on Food and Agriculture.
